Benadril is a common over the counter antihistamine to relieve itching. It works for allergy symptoms as well as other types of itching. For example, it may help relieve itching from poison ivy or bug bites and stings. The main ingredient is diphenhydramine, which can also be used to treat motion sickness and certain types of coughs. Typically, you will find the same ingredients, including the same amount of diphenhydramine in store brand copies of benadril
