Imiqimod

Imiqimod is most often used to treat genital warts, in the form of Aldara. However, it can also be used to treat certain forms of skin cancer that are concentrated on the surface of the skin. Treatments for skin cancer are more intesive than for gential warts, often involving more than one application a day and continuing for 6 weeks or possibly longer. Tests have shown imiquimod to be extremely effective at completely eliminating the cancer with no other treatments.
