Asprin is used to relieve minor aches and pains and is perhaps most commonly used to relieve headaches. It can also help to reduce fever. Patients with heart disease may take asprin to thin their blood and increase blood flow. However, if you're taking high doses of aspring regularly, then you may need to work out the appropriate dose. You don't want your blood to be too thin or it won't clot easily when you're bleeding.
