Piaglitazone is a prescription drug to help control diabetes. As opposed to insulin injections, which increases insulin levels, piaglitazone helps your body utilize insulin better. This may make it unnecessary to take insulin or possibly lower your insulin doses. Piaglitazone is a pill that you take everyday in order to keep your blood glucose levels in balance. But it's not a miracle drug. You should also make sure you're eating a proper diet all the time and test your blood glucose levels regularly.
