Fentanil is a pain reliever that has been used in cancer patients to treat pain that wasn't blocked by another pain reliever. Using this medication is not without risks and dosage directions should be followed very closely. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. Make sure you understand any possible side effects before you start using it and stop using it if you notice any side effects that may be dangerous.
