Ursodial
Posted By: Dave Date: Monday, October 24 2005, at 5:08 p.m.
Ursodial is an oral medication used to dissolve gall stones or to prevent the formation of gall stones in people who may be prone to develop them. It may be an alternative to surgery to remove gall stones, but it may not work for everyone.
Occasionally, some people experience side effects while taking ursodial. You may experience gastrointestinal distress, including nausea or diarrhea. You may also feel symptoms similar to a common cold, such as sore throat, runny nose, cough, and possibly dizziness.
If you feel any of these things, or anything out of the ordinary, talk to your doctor to make sure nothing is seriously wrong.
