Aciclovir

Aciclovir is most commonly used to treat the symptoms of genital herpes and to prevent herpies outbreaks. However, it is also sometimes used to treat other viruses such as chicken pox and shingles.
Some people may be sensitive to aciclovir and experience side effects. The most common are upset stomach or diarrhea, expecially if you're taking high doses, for example to treat a herpies outbreak.
