Acolate is a prescription pill that can help prevent asthma symptoms. You take the pill twice a day to prevent asthma attacks, and you need to continue taking the pills even if you feel perfectly well. Acolate is not a drug that you can just take when you have an asthma attack to relieve the symptoms. It's purely for the prevention of the symptoms, so you need to have it in your system at all times.
