Advair is a prescription asthma medication. It's intended to be used as a preventative measure rather than to treat symptoms as they occur. It's supposed to be inhaled twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, to prevent asthma attacks. Doing this is meant to keep the airway from becoming constricted. It can take a couple weeks before you know whether or not it helps you though.
