Newlasta is a recently approved drug to help prevent complications while undergoing chemotherapy.
One of the major problems with chemotherapy is that it can drastically reduce the number of white blood cells in the body, thus promoting other health problems such as infection.
Newlasta has been shown to drastically reduce the decrease in white blood cells when starting chemotherapy and thus has helped reduce the number of collateral problems that people commonly experience.
