Lunesta is one of the new prescription sleep aids to hit the market. One thing that sets it apart from nearly any other sleep aid is that you may be able to use it for extended periods of time. Most sleep aids can be habit forming if taken for long periods and it can be difficult to stop taking them. However, Lunista may be prescribed for long periods. It's still possible that some people could develop a dependency, but the drug was created for long term help so that's unlikely.
