Citirizine is the active ingredient in the allergy medication Zertec. It should be stored in a dry place. For example, it should not be stored in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom where so much moisture is in the air. It should not be used if you are pregnant, breast feeding, or plan to get pregnant.
