Tamaflu

Tamaflu is a prescription drug to treat the flu (influenza). It's important to note that tamaflu is not a flu vaccine to be taken to prevent the flu. It's medicine to treat the flu once you have it. Unlike typical over the counter flu medicine, tamaflu kills the flu virus rather than treat the flu symptoms. So it may help you to recover more quickly. There are some people who can't tolerate tamaflu and may experience vomiting and other side effects, but these are uncommon. But if you take it, pay attention to make sure you feel better rather than worse. If symptoms worsen, contact your doctor.
