Krestor

Krestor is a prescription drug that may be used to help lower cholesterol. Astra-Zeneca, the company that makes Krestor, had to revise the instructions distributed with the drug because some people experienced serious muscle problems while using it. I believe this was mostly at high doses.
If your doctor prescribes Krestor, you may want to ask to start at the lowest dose to see how it works at first. Or perhaps see if another cholesterol medicine would be just as suitable.
