Betamethazone

Betamethazone is the main ingredient in medications such as Alphatrex, Betatrex, and Diprolene. It is used as a topical medication (cream, ointment, etc.) or orally to relieve itching and inflammation.

Because it is a steroid, you should talk to your doctor about how to stop taking it. You may need to decrease your dosage slowly rather than stop taking it all at once.
