Estrodial is a natural hormone in both men and women, although it's found in much greater amounts in women. It plays a big role in sexual development. Estrodial is often used as a supplement to treat the effects of menopause. However, there is reason to believe now that the use of estrodial after menopause may increase the chance of getting endometrial cancer. If your doctor suggests taking estrodial, make sure you understand exactly what the risk is. Talk to a second doctor if you feel that you need more input.
